Kiren is a digital safety app for iPhone and Android. It helps tell what is real from what is fake: it checks whether an online shop can be trusted before money changes hands, spots deepfakes and manipulated images used in scams, filters harmful messages, and keeps watch over personal information, raising a warning the moment any of it appears in a data breach.

No. Kiren signs in with an email address only. A 6-digit one-time code is sent to that address, and entering the code completes the sign-in. There is no password to create or remember. See Getting Started.

When a subscription has already been purchased, sign in with the email address used for the purchase. The subscription is tied to that address and will not appear when signing in with a different one. A new user can choose any email address. The only requirement is access to that inbox, because the 6-digit sign-in code is sent there.

First check that the email address used for signing in is the one used for the purchase. If the subscription is still missing, open the purchase screen for Kiren Plus and tap Restore purchases. The purchase screen comes from the payment service, and restoring links the existing purchase back to the account.

First check the junk or spam folder, as the message is sometimes delivered there. When signing in on the same phone that receives the email, and email notifications are turned on, the code often appears as a suggestion just above the keyboard, where a single tap enters it. To paste instead, copy the code from the email, return to Kiren, and tap the first number box. The full code drops into place automatically.
